I am really looking forward to Easter. My Family always does the same thing every time. We get our Easter gifts from the door step, and open them at the same time. After we have done that, we eat breakfast. Then the egg hunt begins!!! My sister, Olivia, my brother, Owen, and I wait in the garage while my mom and dad hide the plastic eggs around our property. My brother gets a 5 second head start because he is the youngest. We go and go until we can't find any more eggs. We have a special egg. It is golden. It normally has a five dollar bill in it. I have never found the golden egg before. I think this might be my lucky year. If I do find the golden egg, I will be jumping up and down for joy. Last year, Easter was on my birthday!!! :) :)

Maia, thank you for sharing your family's Easter traditions. I love the idea of the golden egg. I hope this is your lucky year and you are able to find that special egg. It is pretty special to have your birthday fall on Easter. My daughter's birthday once fell on Easter, too.

Hi! Me again. When was your daughters birthday, Mrs. Gray? I just figured out that Easter every year can be after March 22 and before April 25. I hope more of my classmates write on this blog topic!!!!!

Maia, how did you find the dates that Easter could occur on? That is interesting information. My daughter's birthday is April 23rd and my son's birthday is April 27th.

Mrs. Gray, I figured that out by going in the little Google search box and typed in "When is Easter". I clicked on" When is Easter 2014 and why does it hop around every year" and sure enough, it gave me the answers.

Mrs.Gray! My birthday is the same day as your son's! I can't wait until Easter either! I got a package from build a bear that had an egg decorating kit and it has 5 dye tablets, 12 sets of bunny ears, 12 egg holders, 1 egg dipper, 1 sticker sheet, 1 crayon, and an egg drying station.
