What is your favorite simple machine and why? What is the tradeoff that we must make when we use a simple machine? Blog your ideas so your fellow students can see what you think.
My favorite simple machine is the pulley. I like the pulley because it looks cool and can become very helpful in some situations like lifting some wooden boards. It can be used for fun. Like a hangglider!

The tradeoff of the pulley is if you just pull straight down, it takes more effort to lift the load than pulling it slanted.

My favorite simple machine is a lever because it helps lift things the tradoff is the less force the longer it takes the more force the less it takes

Ryder, when you are able to use less force with a simple machine the trade off is the machine has to go a larger, what? You are on the right track, but I want to see if you can use the correct vocabulary. Thank you for posting to the blog.

Some people looked at our house and they said they'll buy it. I can't wait to move. I will finish my year in 3rd grade with my fabulous, terrific, awesome teacher, Mrs.Gray.
